Just go to the Online Gallery Shop, browse through the art work available and if you see something you would like to buy, click on the "Shopping Cart" icon. Once the funds have cleared into our account, we will notify the painting`s artist of your purchase and the artist will ship the piece to you. After you receive the artwork, we request that you notify us by email within 14 days that you are satisfied with the transaction.
How do you accept payment?
We accept payment via credit card or PayPal transfer through our online shopping cart.
How are the paintings delivered?
All of the art work purchased through Japan Canvas is dispatched to you directly from the artists themselves by registered mail to ensure prompt and verifiable delivery.
What if I am not satisfied with the condition of the art work after I receive it?
If the piece is not in the condition or appearance that you expected, you should notify Japan Canvas within 14 days. During that time you can return it to the artist and Japan Canvas will refund your payment. Please note however that return delivery expenses are the buyers responsibility.
How can I contact the artist directly?
Each artist on the Japan Canvas website can be contacted directly from our contact page. Alternatively, you can visit their blog site and leave a comment.

You will receive payment by PayPal transfer into your own PayPal account. From that point it is up to you whether you withdraw the money to your own bank account or keep it in your PayPal account. It is quite easy to create your own PayPal account if you do not already have one.
What currency will I receive my payment in?
Payment is in US dollars. Within your own PayPal account you have the ability to convert this into other currencies.
When will I receive payment?
Buyers have a 14 day grace period after the time they receive the art work in which to raise any concerns about the transaction. If there are no queries or if the buyer acknowledges that they are satisfied with the purchase, we will forward the payment to you immediately.
How should I forward the art work to the buyer?
You must send your art work by registered mail. We also strongly recommend that you should insure the art piece since neither Japan Canvas nor the buyer is responsible for any damage that might occur to your work in transit. It is very important for you to have some means to document that the painting was successfully delivered to the buyer. This may be required as proof in the event of disputed delivery and may be necessary in order to receive payment from us.
What will it cost me to sell my work through your site?
It is completely free to display your art work on our site. When you sell some artwork, Japan Canvas will pay your quoted shipping charges in full plus 85 percent of your sales price. Japan Canvas will retain 15 percent of your sale to cover financial transaction, advertisement and other expenses associated with managing our site.
